Ear candles have been used traditionally by Shamen healers. Their historic roots are to be found in Asia and can be traced back to the Indians of North and South America. This special knowledge was brought to the contemporary Europe from the Hopi people, the oldest Pueblo tribe, with a knowledge of healing and deep spirituality. Ancient wall paintings show their importance in initiation and healing ceremonies of the fire clan.

How are the candles made?

Ear candles are still made today on the basis of an old original recipe known only to the manufacture BIOSUN.  Using only natural ingredients, together with BIOSUN's knowledge of the latest scientific discoveries, the candles are produced to excellent standards.  Valuable honey extracts, essential oil of sage, 100% Pure beeswax, crushed traditional Indian medicinal herbs (mainly sage and camomile), beta-carotene, and a pesticide-free woven cotton guarantee constant high quality.
